Sacramento Area Very Inspirational People Games (VIP) hosts quality sporting events for children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our goal at VIP is to promote a sense of belonging and enhance the overall well-being of these disabled athletes, Very Inspirational People.
Since our founding, participation in VIP sporting events has grown significantly. We host six events and coordinate over 600 volunteers, serving over 1,000 disabled athletes yearly. These events include soccer, floor hockey, basketball, bocce tournaments, swim meets, and track and field competitions.VIP is an all-volunteer organization, including its board members. However, our operations incur significant expenses in hosting these sporting events, including facility fees, rental equipment, athletic awards, and meals for athletes and volunteers.
With your support, VIP can continue to provide a lasting and meaningful impact in our community, hosting quality sporting events for disabled athletes for free. One hundred percent of your donation (100%) will be reinvested into our programs, providing these disabled athletes with opportunities for physical activity, social interaction, and personal growth. Your donation will never compensate any of our organization’s officials. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these Very Inspirational People.
